Brief Break From Deadly Heat in Pakistan (02-JUNE-2015)

A WD trough of low pressure will remain over pakistan through the middle of the week as clouds and rainfall continue to provide cooling after weeks of extreme heat.This is not expected to be a long-term change in the pattern but rather a brief break from the extreme

conditions.The trough will also bring moisture northward from the Arabian Sea, sparking a few rounds of thunderstorms across the region and providing some additional relief from the heat, along with welcome rainfall. A downside to the thunderstorms will be gusty winds that will create areas of blowing dust.While the heat may back off slightly this week, no widespread relief is expected until the middle to late June when monsoon rains
